After lending a track to Creaked Records and Files Rec. for their conjoint "Reboot" compilation last year, She's Drunk, one of the most exciting names of the Berlin Bass music scene, unveils "Anton": two stunning new pieces assorted with a remix by established Frenchman Strip Steve.

Entirely composed in the Republic of Panama and almost exclusively created with an Elektron Machinedrum, the EP smells of wet wood, foliage, sand and tides. The title opens on "Khaki Legs", an acid-tinted piece of rhythmic percussions, wood-blocks and driving kicks melting into a psychedelic dance cut for the dancefloor. "Three Tree's Text" dives into the foggy jungle for a primal hunt tinged with distorted vocal bits and tribal drums. Strip Steve's remix of the latter brings it to a new level of rumbling breakdown, with uneven percussions making way for the melodic finale, ending in an abrupt and bold cut.
