For this new release on Files Rec, Aasco (Hidden Peaks) and Joka (La Vie c'est Facile), two prominent Swiss artists that illustrated themselves both with their respective duos and as solo musicians, team up to produce a banging collection of club-oriented titles.

The EP opens with the title track "Volkan", a 100bpm piece of latin influence and a tribute to Swiss MMA fighter Volkan Oezdemir. Menacing synth melodies combine with pristine drums to render an effect or raw power. "Johnny Ha", while very compatible with the first piece and mood of the entire EP, is much faster and borrows driving rhythms and melodies from the Club Music and Bassline scenes. The mix feels on point and insanely effective. To wrap things up, "Modern Warfare" revolves around a main looming synth line declined in variations, bound together by energetic drums and the same latin feel perceived throughout this cohesive release.
